SPENCER’S SASSAFRAS ROOT BEER

THE BRIEF

Design a unique, funky packaging for a root beer brand that reflects the fun-loving personalities of the consumer audience. Spencer’s Sassafras Root Beer plays on the fact that root beer originates from the sassafras plant. Imagery from both the plant’s roots and leaves were incorporated into the branding in an illustrated manner, guided by bright, playful colors. Spencer’s offers a classic root beer flavor as well as vanilla root beer, each flavor accompanied by a different color combination on a dark background. 

AUDIENCE

Spencer’s brand is dedicated to high spirited individuals and loyal root beer lovers. With the refreshing, candied flavor that’s brought to you in a 12 oz bottle, summer days seem a whole lot cooler. 

VISUAL TONE

Spencer’s is dedicated to celebrating the little moments in life. Created for care free and fun-loving individuals who enjoy their fair share of a refreshing, non-alcoholic beverage.
