OOBA TOOBA LOGO DESIGN & REBRAND

THE BRIEF

​Redesign the logo and brand for Ooba Tooba Mexican Grill. Since Ooba Tooba is a unique Mexican restaurant that provides recipes from all regions of Mexico, I utilized illustrations of animals and foods from different regions of Mexico in the rebrand. I designed a custom type for the logo which resembles popular Mexican font styles.

INSPIRATION

​For the visual elements of the brand, such as the animal and food icons, I went for a simpler direction for the style. I did not want the style of the illustrations to clash with the style of the logo, offering a balance between the elements. The colors for the brand are lively and playful, such as the tone of the restaurant itself.
