DEVILS BY DESIGN

THE BRIEF

Design and produce a hand-bound horror book that showcases a critical selection of classic horror movie villains. Each page contains a translucent folder that carries a postcard of the individual with the character’s story written on the back.

REFERENCES

In early stages of ideation, I found inspiration in a combination of old fashioned post cards, and 1960s horror movie posters. I wanted the cards to appear as if they were screen printed to provide a retro feel to them. Additionally, I added a rough paper texture onto the art to add to the effect that these cards have seen better days.

FINAL DELIVERABLES
