CHOP’S TEEN CLUB STICKER DESIGN
Chop’s Teen Club in Santa Rosa, CA, provides a safe, fun and productive place where Sonoma County teens engage, connect and discover their true potential. I was hired through Studio B to design a set of stickers to be both printed and used as graphic assets for their new website. I had the opportunity to meet with the teen counsel of Chop’s to discuss the contents of the stickers. The counsel, mainly made up of Chop’s teens, informed me about what words and feelings come to mind when thinking of Chop’s. Taking what the teens have told me into account, I designed stickers that encapsulated how they felt about the establishment, as well as stickers they would proudly showcase to others their beloved teen club.
I wanted to design a series of stickers that worked both as separate pieces, as well as a collective when put together. I was assigned to create a set that strictly utilized the Chop’s brand colors, (electric green, teal, and dark/light blues), which was intended to be printed and advertised. The second color scheme was to include pink, purple, and yellow, as well as the brand’s colors in order to add more variety of color to the website. These stickers were all intended to be gender neutral, meant for everyone to enjoy.
